This event can be used to file a Motion for Entry of Chapter 13 Discharge before the trustee files the Notice of Completion of Plan Payments.

Filer should use Local Form 13-16. Local Form 13-16 is a Motion for Entry of Discharge and Certification of Plan Completion and other requirements for discharge.

The Chapter 13 Debtor's Certification Regarding Domestic Support Obligations and Section 522 (q) Local Form 13-15 ("DSO") and the Certificate of Debtor Education must be filed, unless an order waiving those requirements has been entered.
Step-by-Step Procedure:

Select [Bankruptcy>Motions/Applications]

Enter case number and click Next

Select Entry of Chapter 13 Discharge and Certification of Plan Completion from pick list and click Next

Select the Party you represent from the party pick list or if not listed then Add/create new party

Click Next
-
Screen with information about filing Local Form 13-16 will appear

Click Next
-
Screen with case information will appear - click Next

Click Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate PDF
-
Select PDF to be uploaded into CM/ECF

Click Open button and filename will appear in the browse window
NOTE: The proposed order must be added as an attachment to the notice of motion and motion. -
Select Yes radio button for Attachment to Document and click Next

Select one or more attachments by clicking the Browse button and navigate to locate the appropriate PDF

Select PDF attachment to be uploaded into CM/ECF

Click Open button - filename of attachment will appear in the browse window

Complete the Category and/or Description

Click Add to List (attachment file name will appear in window)

Click Next

Insert hearing date, time and select hearing location

Click Next
-
Screen with case information will appear - click Next

Verify the accuracy of the docket text - if applicable, you may make a selection from the prefix drop-down box - click Next

The Final Text page will display. This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.

Click Next to complete filing process
The Notice of Electronic Filing will display. It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.
Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
